Piedra Blanca is a distinctive coastal spot just beyond Playa La Manzanilla in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, recognized for the iconic white rock that gives it its name. This large, solitary boulder stands dramatically at the edge of the sea—around 20 meters tall with a wide base—smoothed by waves and marked by seabirds over time.
The surrounding beach is quieter and more rugged compared to the nearby family-friendly stretches. Its mix of rock, sand, and surf creates a more natural, untouched atmosphere. Adventurous visitors sometimes use Piedra Blanca as a cliff-jumping spot, though only at high tide and always with caution.
