Held every Thursday evening from November to April, it transforms the Bucerias art district into an open-air gallery where local and international artists showcase their work. From paintings and sculptures to photography and handmade crafts, the Art Walk is a feast for the senses that lets you discover the rich artistic spirit of Bucerías.
As you stroll through the cobblestone streets, you’ll find galleries opening their doors with special exhibitions, live music filling the air, and artists eager to share the stories behind their creations. It’s not just about viewing art—it’s about connecting with the local culture, meeting talented creatives, and enjoying a lively evening atmosphere. Whether you’re an art collector or simply curious, the Bucerías Art Walk offers a unique and memorable way to experience the town’s cultural heartbeat.
The participating galleries are all clustered together in the city’s Art District, also known as the Golden Zone. Sip wine, sample cheese, wander the streets, and interact with some of the top artists and gallery owners in Banderas Bay. Take in the galleries themselves, as many are beautiful examples of Mexican colonial architecture, housed in repurposed homes and shops. Afterward, explore the neighborhood’s many restaurants & bars.
If art is your passion, Puerto Vallarta also has an art walk every Wednesday from 6 to 10 pm from late October to late May. 19 galleries participated during the 24 – 25 season.
